The race then seen a red flag due to a crash that involved Alastair Seeley and Andrew Pitt, Brookes was not able to make the restart, however, Kiyo went on to take a second place finish. In the last racing contest of the weekend, Kiyo made a valiant effort to beat Tom Sykes for the lead but had to take a second place finish, as fellow HM Plant Honda rider Brookes had to fight hard to achieve a sixth place finish.
