Footman James Classic Motorbike Show Promises Live Bike Action

There will be some classic motorbike action coming to the Footman James Classic Motorbike Show the show takes place for the first time at the NEC in Birmingham in the month of November. The event is scheduled to take place from November 12th through the 14th. At the event will be notable riders who will be putting their classic bikes through the paces over a tough 25×30 special built course created to test skill and classic trial motorcycles. Mick Grant, Duncan Macdonald and Neil Gaunt will be at the show riding Ariels and Triumph Cubs, putting the classic bikes to the test. Mick Grant thinks that this will prove that classic machines can be as fun as the newer motorcycles.

The Wall of Death will feature two-wheeled gravity-defying antics as old school classic bikes gather up enough speed to go up a wooden wall that amazingly enough is 18 feet tall. Wall of Death master Ken Fox will be riding on 10 Indian Scout motorbikes that date from the year 1921 to 1927. These bikes are famous for their handling around the Wall, a wall that is constructed out of heavy wooden planking.

In addition to these attractions, the motorcycling show will also have displays from the United Kingdom’s most favoured motorcycle clubs, a trader village, a Bikejumble and stage where live interviews will be conducted.
